The 10th International Istanbul Theatre Festival opens with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano- Teatro d’Europa production “Milva Sings A New Brecht- The Moon Doesn’t Always Shine”- thus commemorating the centennial of Bertolt Brecht. Directed by Giorgio Strehler recognized in Milva the ideal Brecht interpreter and the present show stress the fact that there in no limit to her range. Milva’s “The Moon Doesn’t Always Shine” expresses enchantment and a captivating woe, it provides an unforgettablen performance through love songs that emphasize an implicit sense of abondonment interpersed with comic moments.
