- Written by: Anton Chekhov

Chekhov described “The Seagull” as a comedy with three female parts, six male parts, a landscape (a view of the lake). His own feelings and ideas about the rules of dramatic art prevalent in this time have found a partial expression in the words he put into the mouth of Treplev. He tries to convey his ideas to the actors by telling them that everything must be simple... Completely simple. “The seagull”, directed by Jossef Raikhelgaouz who is the director of “Skola Sovremennay Pyes” Moscow theatre is an exceptional performance giving the audience the chance to appreciatethe magical, marvelous performance of Yıldız Kenter, who is celebrating her 50th anniversary on stage.
