In 1996, Amnesty International asked a group of French playwrights to write plays based on the theme of “theatre against collective amnesia”. “Amnesia” is the staging of these five plays written by Enzo Cormann, Eugène Durif, Eric Emmanuel Schmitt and Joel Jouanneau which explores the themes of power, violence and methods of persuasion.
