  • Concept, written and directed by: Jan Fabre

This is the first meeting of Jan Fabre with the Turkish audience. A reckoning with the body and the obsession with death are the main themes of ‘Angel of Death’, the film this ‘aberrant’ artist shot with famous choreographer and dancer William Forsythe at the Anatomy Museum in Montpellier. In the film, Forsythe alegorically evokes Andy Warhol’s obsessions with fame and death. Jan Fabre has added the live performance of his famous dancer Ivana Jozic to this interesting film. The strong presence of the monumental image of William Forsythe on the screen and the performance of Ivana Jozic create a magnificent contradiction.
