Dedicated to Tunç Yalman.

Samuel Beckett says the word ‘maybe’ lies at the heart of “Happy Days”, his third and last long stage play, and one of the most important works of contemporary theatre. Beckett has composed a tragicomical tune that relates the human being’s embrace of hope, despite the total openness and meaninglessness of existence. The work is a stripped yet but equally intensified extension of the themes of the writer’s plays “Waiting for Godot” and “End Game”.
