Antrepo No.3
The Forsythe Company
- Concept: William Forsythe, Kendall Thomas
World famous choreographer William Forsythe and Professor Kendall Thomas from Columbia University Faculty of Law, meet the Festival audience with Human Writes, a project dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. While dancers of The Forsythe Company put their efforts in making out letters, words and sentences from the Declaration of Human Rights on tables covered with coal dust in Antrepo No. 3 during the performance, they will endeavour to present a physical discourse concerning the reinstatement and preservation of human rights, in which the failure of such efforts is inscribed by means of a powerful body language. This compelling performance/installation also invites the audience to take part in choreography.
