The first ballerina of The Turkish Republic, Kaya İlhan has taught classes in movement laboratory for many years at several performing arts departments in universities. Following her conviction that dancing requires strict discipline, individual style and life-long learning, İlhan has dedicated herself to a creative educational approach for the art of dance. Her lessons have not been forgotten by eight young professional artists and former university students determined to pursue the universal power of art and unreservedly assumed the responsibility of advancing their art’s education. Scaffold to Eternity is a joint project prepared together with Kaya İlhan in her dedication by eight artists rich in imagination and education who can fuse their individualities with their creativity by continuing to explore, question and experiment within their art practices.
