Aiming at bringing together the best plays of contemporary theatre with İstanbul audiences, incorporating critical, tense theatre into the arts field and reviving viewers’ dynamics of reflecting upon and questioning actual social issues, DOT has staged eleven plays since its establishment in 2005. Mandrel shows us what happens when the tourists and countermen clash in the largest jewellery center of Turkey.
