The performance incorporates two parts: Yoroboshi, which brilliantly merges traditional Japanese "noh" and contemporary dance and The Rite of Spring. The Rite of Spring is a poetic duet performed with live piano music. In commemoration of acclaimed ballet dancer and choreographer Nijinsky, who performed the original The Rite of Spring, Stravinsky’s unforgettable ballet is now staged by Hirayama Motoko.
