An Egyptian pilot from Cairo and a young Turkish woman grown up with Western values are trying to sustain their love in the teeth of historical preconceptions and unstable political landscape. It is summer of 2013 and the couple comes to Istanbul from Cairo to stay with woman’s family for awhile. While cultural preconceptions were discarded through love, things begin to change with return of woman’s brother, who left his home long ago. The woman’s struggle for cultural adaptation turns into self-questioning between two men.
