Tiyatro Artı is in search of new staging techniques. Having practiced the experiments of a concept for a single audience and a simulative plot, the company will offer a new staging technique this time. Focusing on the perception of watching, The Pencil aims to create a different play set-up from plot to positioning audiences. With a concentration on violence against thought, the company asks these questions: How effective are individual desires on our social existence? What kind of a self-censorship we practice while we are expressing our thoughts? Does receiving acceptance require dedifferentiation? Does a constant self-censorship stamp out the individual? Would these questions drive us mad?
