A man who was born dead in a nuclear explosion tells the story of his future life, assuming he got the chance to live. He presents scenes from this imaginary life. In every single scene, characters are alone with their choices that are forcing them to face their humanity. One of the greatest authors of modern English theatre, Edward Bond constructs a great story, a simple and complex one at the same time, with imagination and surprises and he challenges with the very fundamentals of our humanity. "No one willingly gives up the name of human. It takes a great deal of culture to make us human, it takes even more culture o make us beasts". Edward BOND, Commentary on The War Plays, 1991.
