A single woman moves into a family apartment building. One day her boyfriend comes over. What follows is a familiar story about personal space, hypocrisy and suppressed sexuality. The lighting design as well as the inner monologues and striking gestures of the characters will provide a new experience for the audience by enabling them to watch a familiar story through an unfamiliar stage language. Mesut Arslan, known for staging plays as installations, will once again bring unexpected moments for the audience as he did in The Man and the Room, Betrayal, and Secret Face.

GALATAPERFORM Created in 2003 as the main venue for Ve Diğer Şeyler Company, established in 2001 by Yeşim Özsoy, GalataPerform became an independent space for theatre in 2010. The company focuses on new texts, stage technologies and interdisciplinariness and in addition to producing plays continues operating as an independent theatre with workshops, publications and festivals. Some of the projects of GalataPerform, which features first plays by new playwrights and directors, are Visibility Project and New Text New Theatre. The company produced plays such as Aksak İstanbul Hikâyeleri, Ev-Kakofonik bir Oyun, Sene 2084, Yüzyılın Aşkı, İz, Aşk ve Faşizm, and Yaşlı Çocuk and toured domestic and international festivals. GalataPerform continues one of their projects, New Text New Theatre, since 2006 and for the past 5 years has been organizing the first and only play-writing festival of Turkey, New Text New Theatre Festival, where plays produced throughout the season are evaluated.

PLATFORM 0090 Focusing on Hybridity-Interspace-Openness-Sustainability-Transdisciplinariness, Platform 0090 serves as an international workshop and hub for research, creation and presentation of trans-disciplinary art with emphasis on interspaces and hybridity. Platform 0090 converts synergies of international network of artists and partners into artistic processes and has initiated the emergence of many artistic creations by partnering with artists from various disciplines.

DIRECTOR After working as an actor and assistant director at Izmir City Theatre and Yeni Asir Theatre Company, Mesut Arslan has been a member of Anadolu Theatre Company in Belgium between 1999-2005 as an actor and director. Together with choreographer Eric Raeves and artist Meryem Bayram he founded the OnderHetVel theatre in 2005 and as a director at this organization created trans-disciplinary projects with multi-cultural backgrounds. In 2006, he established Platform Festival 0090 which produces trans-disciplinary projects in Belgium and The Netherlands. He currently acts as general art director of Platform 0090.
