The views of Gender Equality will be connected with the art world in this panel moderated by Ebru Nihan Celkan. The integration of women into all areas of social life has accelerated; this panel will provide the conceptual framework and general concepts developed to understand how these advancements impact our lives while also presenting information on the past, present and future of the process.
What is gender equality? How did inequality arise? What difference would it make in our lives if men and women had equal opportunities and divided responsibilities equally? Is inequality present in the performing arts? How can “I” make a difference as an art lover, or an artist, or citizen? We will search for the answers to these questions together.
Since capacity for the event is limited, reservations must be made until Friday, October 1 for participation.
