Adapted from Zeynep Kaçar's novel, which won the Atillâ İlhan and Notre Dame de Sion Literature Awards, Alone brings together Başak Kıvılcım Ertanoğlu and Ümit Erlim, whose acclaimed collaboration in Treplev last year won awards. The play proceeds in two different time lines and follows a woman slowly losing her identity over months and years in parallel with the transformation of a country, until the moment she realises it and tries to reclaim herself.
