World’s oldest theatre company Comédie-Française makes Turkey debut

Dating back to Molière, Comédie-Française is the oldest theatre company still operating today and it is coming to the Istanbul Theatre Festival with its newest production that premiered at the Avignon Festival this summer. Eminent director Tiago Rodrigues, who combines reality and fiction, personal and political to transform life poetically with the tools of theatre, once again enables us to question the world together by using the power of words, bodies and our dreams in Hecuba, not Hecuba.
