Being right or being happy in life?
As Cemal progresses from the subtlety of a writer to the vulgarity (!) of an internet phenomenon, while ruining himself and those around him with his supposedly unconventional ideas, he waits for the likely Istanbul earthquake in an old house filled with his father's belongings, in a building whose residents he could never convince to undergo urban transformation, as an incompatible person. Lynchings and Lips focuses on the waiting process and the possible outcomes of those who design life solely based on reason and expect to be right.
