Hikmet Hükümenoğlu’s first play premieres at the festival.

A family dinner; a single table. Cracks in family relationships threaten to spill over. Hükümenoğlu, author of Körburun and Atmaca, explores how ‘domestic peace” comes at the cost of suppressed tensions. Directed by Mert Öner, Into the Open leaves a deep impact with universal themes, familiar conflicts and humour that is at once painful and human.
