Theatre Fantastique was created in 1980 by Richard Zachary, who studied mime and theater with Marcel Marceau, Etienne Decroux and Jaques Lecoq, after his studies at Harvard University (B.A.) and the Fletcher School of International Law and Diplomacy (M.A.). Starting as a one-man show, he and his creatures performed for the Festival in Dublin, as well as in several theatres and Tv shows.

His creatures multipied and in 1982 Theatre Fantastique became a threeperson company. Their new extented program played in numerous European cities and lately they completed a big tour covering several far eastern countries.

In 1983 the comany had an extended tour throughout France and Germany and performed part of their fantastic program in concert with Juliette Greco in the Espace Cardin İn Paris.

For 1984-85 more touring and new adventures await these wonderful beings of Theatre Fantastique that enchant and amuse the audience with their very special dreamworld.
