This Memory Stage gathering focuses on the legacy of Kumpanya, one of the most distinctive and influential companies in the history of theatre in Türkiye, exploring its artistic practice across different periods and productions. Moderated by Amira Akbıyıkoğlu, curator of Salt’s The 90s Onstage exhibition, the conversation brings together Kumpanya founders Naz Erayda and Kerem Kurdoğlu, who will also curate the local productions programmes for the 2027 and 2028 editions of the Istanbul Theatre Festival. Audiences are invited to take a closer look at the company’s journey over the years and its contribution to the performing arts landscape.
