Led by Eylül Görmüş, a contributor to KAFA magazine and K24 and the host of Pandora’nın Merakı and Nereden Başlamalı programmes, the Book Club offers a space to read and discuss the literary works behind the adaptations featured in the festival programme. Participants are invited to exchange different perspectives on the themes, characters and narrative worlds of these works, enriching their experience of the productions on stage.

In this session, the Book Club turns to Ve Ateş Bizi Tüketiyor by Murat Gülsoy, a prominent writer in contemporary Turkish literature. Adapted for the stage by Mehmet Birkiye for the festival, the novel will be explored through its narrative structure and the ideas it explores.
