Led by Eylül Görmüş, a contributor to KAFA magazine and K24 and the host of Pandora’nın Merakı and Nereden Başlamalı programmes, the Book Club offers a space to read and discuss the literary works behind the adaptations featured in the festival. Participants are invited to exchange different perspectives on the themes, characters and narrative worlds of these works, enriching their experience of the productions on stage.

In this session, the Book Club turns to J. M. Coetzee’s Elizabeth Costello, the novel that inspired the production of the same name, directed by Saim Güveloğlu and presented at the festival. Through Coetzee’s narrative, the conversation will explore our relationship with other living beings, moral responsibility, faith, and the ways in which writing gives shape to thought.

The event will be held in Turkish. Advance booking is required.
