How can a legacy be passed on, transformed and made visible again?
In I Can’t Remember the Last Thing I Forgot, Taldans draws on They Shot Me In Troy, a production archived nearly thirty years ago by the Theatre Research Laboratory (TAL). Revisiting TAL’s experimental theatre legacy in the aesthetic and political conditions of today, the work interprets historical texts, movement practices and spatial dramaturgy through the body. The archive is no longer a fixed record, but becomes a creative ground that changes through contact and gives rise to new encounters as questions are asked.
