Ramesh Meyyappan, creator of Last Rites, will lead a special workshop focusing on physical theatre as part of the festival. Open to both deaf and hearing participants, the workshop will explore non-verbal storytelling, the use of the body and physical expression, drawing on Meyyappan’s own creative practice and the methods he employs in Last Rites.

The workshop will be conducted in British Sign Language, with interpretation into English and Turkish Sign Language.

The workshop is free of charge and limited to 20 participants. Applications are open to deaf and hearing participants with an interest in physical theatre. Advance application is required.
