Designed to introduce children to the creative world of puppetry, these workshops invite participants to create their own work by exploring different materials and forms of expression and using their imagination. Presented by İKSV Alt Kat, the workshops are supported by Alarko Holding, Sponsor of İKSV’s 2026 Festival Workshops for Children and Young People.

Anna Karayorgi is a performance artist and workshop facilitator who reinterprets traditional puppetry techniques through a contemporary, interdisciplinary approach. Her practice focuses on hand puppetry, abstract forms and the relationship between body and object, and she leads workshops for both children and adults. A graduate of the Stage Design and Costume Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Karayorgi is currently studying Child Development at Istanbul University and carries out projects at festivals, museums and as part of educational programmes.
