The British playwright Arnold Wesker is well known in Turkey especially with “Roots”, “Kitchen” and “Four Seasons”. Over the past ten years, besides writing large-cast plays he has been the author of one-woman works. Wesker’s rapturous gift of depicting female sensibility is known to the audiences. Furthermore, his one-woman plays are acclaimed for thid brilliant use of language. He tends to compose a piece of music stressing lyrical rises and falls in female utterances.
