Great Abélard says, “History shall remember me not as a poet or a philosopher, but as a lover, your lover”. The play is about the legendary love story between the eminent 12.century philosopher Abélard and Héloise” gives a sensual and poetic description of the contours of love. The two charactersare so addicted to love that they are jelous of the love they feel for each other. It seems as tough their lovers are no longer themselves, but the very love they feel... “If God can not love me this strong, then ı shall create God out of my love”, says Héloise. What else can a woman do in the 12th century? A play where mind and senses are knittedin each other.
