On the stage there is an old, wrecked train, resisting the flow of time. In the wagon we perceive three soldiers Ubu Rex, Don Quixote and Schweik. The train travels through Europe, meeting with different people, different wars and wittnessing different agonies. Shweik manages to step out of the crowd and asks “Oh world where are you heading for?” the French director Znorko of Polish origin, who had a big success with his play at the 1993 Avignon Festival, loads the train with human feelings almost forgotten and actuallay directs the question to us, “Where are we heading for?”
